| EGPQHA Youth Committee | ||
| The EGPQHA Youth Committee has now become more structured and they are intending to hold monthly meetings in order to achieve goals they have set themselves aimed at promoting and increasing youth participation in Western Disciplines. All of the Youth Committee are Under the age of 18 and they have some BIG plans and are extremely enthusiastic. Currently the Youth Committee would like to call for “HELPERS”! You do not have to be a rider or even a horse enthusiast, if you can handle a set of tongs, or staple some pages together, pin some brochures up in the local area or do anything to help them achieve their goals your assistance would be most appreciated. Both Adult and Youth are welcome. DONATIONS in either Cash or Prizes to help them raise money would also be gratefully accepted. If you are a youth member and would like to be more actively involved in the Youth Committee please contact Shelley N on 0437 221 734. | BEGINNER REINING CLINIC WITH GARY BROWNE – FREE FENCESITTING | ||
The Victorian Reining Horse Association is holding a Beginner Reining Clinic with Gary Browne on Sunday 29th November 2009.. Members and Friends of EGPQHA are welcome to attend as Fencesitters for FREE. If you have ever wondered about reining, wanted to know more, want to improve your moves and not sure where to start you are most welcome to fence sit at this clinic for free and find out a little more about this exciting sport! For riding positions you will need to contact the VRHA directly and details can be found on their website. www.vrha.com.au Gary Brown, the clinician, is a very experienced and most noted reiner, with many, many reining acheivements under his belt as do his clients. He is particularly keen to encourage beginners to the sport and on to acheive success in their reining. This is a fantastic opportunity for our members to gain more knowledge into this sport at NO COST!! EGPQHA is intending on running the Bruthen Community Bus to the event held at Werribee at the National Equestrian Centre dependant on numbers. The Cost will be $15.00 per head to cover Hire and Fuel (based on a Full Bus). There are 12 seats available and priority will be given on a first in best dressed basis, your payment will confirm your spot! The VRHA has suggested that we pack a lunch incase there are no onsite food vans on the day. See Booking form for bus under our Future Events Page on this website. At this stage Pick Up will be in the Main Street of Bruthen, Main St Bairnsdale, Main Street Stratford and KFC Sale. Ring Shelley N on 0437 221 734 for further information. |
