Hi to all the members of our association.
Welcome back to 2012
I trust that everyone had a successful Christmas and New Year Break
During the coming months there are several clinics, shows and open days already planned
Take a look at the association’s web site for more information
(The web site also contains articles and equipment for sale, as well as other interesting horse related items)
In addition the first 3-4 months of the year are a busy time as several associations and groups hold major shows and events
We wish all our members well who are planning to attend these events.
At home the arena surface is proving to be a bit of a challenge for the committee as given the higher than normal rain fall over the last couple of months the weeds have taken hold well.
We are working towards additional control measures as required.
The western dressage clinic was postponed from last week to this coming weekend (Jan 15th) due the weather forecast
As noted on the web site if you are unsure about the Bairnsdale weather and if an event is containing then please contact the nominated show secretary of myself before leaving home
As all clinic attendees had provided phone numbers we were able to SMS them of the postponement

- “ The committee has agreed that whenever possible we make the arena available to current association members for an open day. These will fall on the Saturday or Sundays as nominated in the future events page.  If you wish to attend then you will need to ensure that you email Russell by the Wednesday prior (including your name and a contact number) and we will see what we can do. Thanks”
